David Paul Breemes

David Paul Breemes (Poppy), age 79, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026. Born on March 11, 1947, David lived a full and meaningful life, marked by hard work, deep family connections, and a love for life’s simple pleasures.
David spent many years working as a machinist, a trade that reflected his dedication, skill, and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he found his greatest joy in the outdoors—especially camping—and in sharing good meals with those he loved. Whether around a campfire or a kitchen table, David was happiest when surrounded by family, laughter, and plenty of food.
He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Fannie Breemes; his sister, Diana Bogue; and his infant daughter, Tamee.
David is survived by his beloved wife, Louise Breemes; his brother, Donald F. Breemes; his children, Teena and David (Danyale); and his cherished grandchildren, Chelsea (Adam), Julianna (Sondro), Trevor, Haley, and Bryce. He also leaves behind his adored great-grandchildren: David James, Lydia Jean, Evelyn Rose, Lincoln Michael, Nora Margaret, and Charlie Joseph.
David will be remembered for his steady presence, his love of the outdoors, and his appreciation for a good meal—always with room for seconds. His legacy lives on in the many memories shared by those who knew and loved him.
Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday April 2, from 4-6PM at Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford-Palmyra Road, Fairport, NY.
