Passed away April 16, 2022

Predeceased by her father, George Pruitt.  Survived by her loving husband, Alan, daughter, Sarah Beth (Kevin) Duhamel, and son Nathan (Johnna) Bubb, two grandchildren, Kevin and Katherine Duhamel, mother Elsie Pruitt, sisters Gail Rosenquist (Paul Zoldahn), Martha Pruitt, and brother John Wilder (Holley McLaughlin).

Becky was born and raised in Fairport, NY.  After graduating from Fairport High School, she graduated from Highland Hospital Nursing School.  She had a nursing career for over 30 years.

Becky met Alan 50 years ago in December of 1972.  They were married May of 1974 and raised two children who were the pride of her life.

Faith was very important to Becky, and that grew after she joined the Catholic Church.  She prayed the rosary daily, in addition to planning the parish’s woman’s retreat and knitting prayer shawls.

Becky always found ways to care for others, in addition to her career and work for the church.  She enjoyed knitting and was always working on a project to give to someone else.  She also enjoyed bird watching, reading, puzzles, gardening, and Hallmark movies.

Most important to Becky was her love of her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Calling Hours will be Friday April 22, 4-7PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt Location) 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday April 23, 9:30AM at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church 207 Garfield Street, East Rochester. Private Inurnment at White Haven Memorial Park.

Sending prayers, love and sympathy your way as you grieve the loss of someone so special and very dear to you. Though your hearts are heavy,we know that heaven has received a beautiful & precious gift. Becky was always a “blessing” to everyone around her…..she was a true and living reflection of GOD’s Love.
I feel very lucky and blessed to have worked with Becky. She was always delight, made me laugh even when days were tough and shared wonderful stories of her adorable grandchildren…..I totally cherished our friendship and memories.. Those we hold most dear never truly leave us. They live on in the kindness they showed, the comfort they shared and the love they brought into our lives.
As your family share, talk and remember treasured memories, may you find Peace and Comfort.

Becky was always a bright light at St. Luke’s. She and Alan were warm and caring folks. Becky was one of the acolytes at our wedding when my husband and I were married in 1998.
Becky was so proud of her family and shared many dear stories of times they spent together. Our church family missed them when they decided to worship elsewhere. For many years, even though they changed their place of worship, their ties to St. Luke’s continued with a Christmas card and “newsy” updates on their family and a family photo with their smiling faces…..It was really a shock to learn of Becky’s passing. Heaven is blessed with a very special and beautiful spirit in God’s Heavenly kingdom. RIP Becky.
My deepest sympathy to Becky’s family during this time of deep loss. God bless each of you. Becky will be watching over you and your memories will always hold her close.
