Born in Meriden CT, James was a graduate of Curry College. He was also a US Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War. James was a devoted husband to his wife Cynthia for 41 years. Together, they built a loving home filled with laughter, warmth, and unwavering support.
As a father to two sons, Patrick and Michael, James instilled values of hardwork, resilience, and integrity. His wisdom and guidance will forever resonate in our hearts.
James also cherished his role as a grandfather, finding immense joy in the lives of his grandchildren, Landon and Peyton. His playful spirit and loving nature created unforgettable memories that will be treasured for generations to come.

My prayers and strength are with all of you. It was always a pleasure to see Jim and he will be sadly missed.
Thank you, Denise, for your kind, thoughtful words.
Prayers for you, Cynthia, and your family. It was always a joy seeing and talking with Jim whether it be professionally at the hospital, socially at the old pool club in Mendon or just running into him in town. We always caught up quickly for gaps in time. I recall a time I pulled him into the pool not knowing he was wearing his Rolex and a time I biked by while Fred Vogt was working on your pool house… I think we all stopped what we were doing for over an hour. Jim was such a great friend even to those who saw him infrequently. He is dearly missed. God bless you.
Thank you, Mike! He always lived catching up with you!
Bill and I really enjoyed our friendship that developed in the last few years. Jim’s dry wit, honest opinions and strong values are what we will remember most. He was impeccably dressed at all times! Nothing made him happier than showing us pictures of Patrick and Michael and the grandkids. He will be missed. Our deepest sympathy to you, Cindy. Hugs to you and the family
❤️❤️❤️ Thank you!

Cyndi , I am so sorry for your loss, Jim was a great man and I have some really fun memories of him when we were coaches in the Mendon basketball league. We coached our two boys, Mikey and Chad in many sports but basketball was the primary memories. I cannot tell you how sad it was for me to hear his loss and I know how much he loved him. Dear Cindy and Family:

Jim made a lasting impression from the first day I met him. He was dressed to the nines and had a great sense of humor. Polite, dapper, and always fun to be around. Dear Cindy and family.
We are so sorry to learn of Jim’s passing. We have so enjoyed our many years of knowing him and sharing visits and good times as neighbors.
I fondly remember a memory from 20 years ago… how our children lit up when we were out for a stroll in the neighborhood and Jim gave them some fun markers ,colorful paper, pens, etc
We will miss him.
Sending love and prayers.

Cynthia and family,
We are so deeply sorry to learn of your loss. We have enjoyed Jim’s presence in our community for many years, and his warm smile and wave each time we passed him outside. In many of our conversations he spoke kindly of our boys, and I have always guessed that came from his love of his own boys, We will always think fondly of him.
Our sincere condolences.
Thank you so much, Kerri. He so enjoyed your family. We will all miss him.
I knew Jim from FM high school. We were friends since then with emails, texts and phone calls. When I’d visit Syracuse from St Louis, Jim would always drive down to see me. I loved being with him. He always made me laugh. I am sorry he did not let me know how ill he was. I asked to visit and he turned me down. I can’t believe he’s gone. I am so sad for you Cindy and all your family. Jim was a wonderful, bright and very funny guy. I miss him so much and I’m sorry I could not make it to see all of you. Debby
Thank you, Debby. You knew Jim well and can understand his desire not to burden his friends with his illness. He thought world of you!
Dear Cindy,
Tom and I are so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. Elissa got the news through Facebook and passed it on to us. We sold our Honeoye Falls house a little over three years ago and are now living in Florida/Adirondacks. We will always have fond memories of Jim and the Thanksgiving and sporting events we spent with all of you. He was always so much fun to be around! Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Patrick and Mike.
With love, Alison and Tom Reidy
