My condolences to Tom’s children. I’m sad at his passing as Tom was my best friend in early elementary school years. We grew up 2 blocks from each other in Oil City, attended St. Joseph elementary and high school (where Tom achieved statewide recognition as a star basketball player), went to Gannon together and were brothers together in Gamma Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Phi. RIP Dino. Loved you my friend.
To Dino…. You’ll always be that quiet Gentleman, with a dry wit and a caring disposition. Tom , as you were born, but to every Delta Sig Brother you were known as DINO!
We were always good telephone friends over the last few decades and remember seeing you at our Naples Reunion and Peggy & yourself at an Erie gathering … Dino, you chose well and as a freshman at Gannon in 1969, she was the prettiest girl I ever saw…. And in the years that followed, I found Peggy to a lovey lady and fun to be with.
You both are together now, as you were for some 50 plus years. Know that you will be missed and every Sig I know is sadder by your passing. RIP my Brother!

Hi Mr. Cooley,
Thank you for not only your wonderful message about my Dad, but also for the beautiful flowers that the brothers from Delta Sig sent to the church. It was a wonderful surprise that meant a lot to my siblings and me. He was a very proud Gannon alum and Delta Sig.
It was great to see you and our Delta Sig brothers together again in Naples. Thank you for being part of my life. See you in the next life. Mark Vahey
The Veterans Outreach Center extends our deepest sympathy in Thomas’ passing.
We acknowledge and are truly grateful for his service to our country.
I was so blessed to have known “my buddy” Tom Carroll. He was such a kind, loving, sweet man and I enjoyed spending so much time with him these last couple years. I am honored to be acknowledged with his family whom I love very much. Tom, you are dearly missed. Love you!
Dearest Tom, you were the most kind hearted, funny and lovable person, you made me smile and laugh every time I was able to see you. I’m so blessed to have known you and heaven is so lucky to have you. You will live on in our memories and with your family and the people whose lives you touched. You will be missed oh so dearly but I’m so happy to know that God and Peggy now get to hold you close. Love you bunches.
Tom’s children & grandchildren,
My condolences on the loss of your Dad. I only knew Tom for a couple of years at Resurrection. I enjoyed our conversations, especially when we discussed basketball. I would have loved to see Tom play in his college years.
A gentleman with a deep faith & empathy for his fellow man. May God bless his soul, and bless his family.
