Lelah J. Castell (Osborne)
February 14, 1939 – April 16, 2025
Lelah J. Castell, lovingly known as Lee, Lulu, or Mema, passed peacefully in her sleep on April 16, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on Valentine’s Day, Lelah lived a life full of love, laughter, and warmth that she shared freely with everyone she met.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth, and cherished daughter, Cyndy . Her memory lives on through her devoted daughter Susan (Dean), granddaughters Angelynn (Zach), Kayla (Javaloa), and Jamie, and her great-grandchildren Maddox, Avianna, Javaloa, and Angel.
Lelah had a gift for joy—her smile could light up any room, and her presence was a comfort and delight to all who knew her. Whether she was sharing a kind word, a warm hug, or simply sitting in quiet companionship, she made the world around her feel brighter.
As per her wishes, no formal service will be held. In lieu of gathering, all who loved her are invited to plant a rose bush in her memory—to celebrate her life through the beauty of nature, and to watch something bloom where love once grew.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
