Tye Kaige Cerone 10/02/1996 – 10/02/2024

Lima/ Tye passed unexpectedly on October 2, 2024 at the young age of 28. He is predeceased by his great grandparents Barney and June Collier, and Grandfather Terry Dimmick. He is survived by his mother Kelley Dimmick, father Steve (Jamie) Cerone, Grandfather Mike Cerone Sr., Grandmother Diane Golisano, Nana Linda Kelley, siblings Alex (Haley) Dimmick, Justin Kantz, Samantha (Dylan) Cerone, Téa Cerone, nieces and nephews Alaska, Sakari, Shelby, Kinsley, Blake, Jaxon, and Levi. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tye grew up in Fairport, NY until he moved to Livonia.  He loved playing sports especially lacrosse and football during his youth. He enjoyed spending time with his extremely large family any chance he could and always made friends wherever he went.  He loved to paint and draw; his imagination knew no bounds.  Tye would always amaze us with his never-ending energy and his heart was as large as the moon. He loved fiercely, was genuine, loyal and would do anything for anyone.  His laugh was contagious and lit up the room.  Tye will be missed by his family forever. He lived every minute with his beloved pets, Roxi and Marley, they were his entire world and will forever miss him.

Calling Hours Thursday October 10, 2024 3-4PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt Location) 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 4PM.

We are so saddened by this news. Tye was a great little friend to our kids, when they were all very young and playing in the neighborhood. He was always smiling, always kind, always up for fun. We are so very sorry for your loss. Our hearts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

I’m so sad to her this news. I worked with Steven’s Mom, Diane, and know how much family meant to you all. To lose a child is the most devastating thing to happen to parents and grandparents. Prayers for all your family as you grieve this loss.

Tye was a wonderful person. I had the privilege of being his 6th grade teacher and loved his zest for life. He was always eager to learn something new. Rest well. Peace.

  12. Mann this breaks my heart ❤️‍🩹. He was such an amazing person and had such a deep passion for his tattoos and his fir babies. And he LOVED his momma. They had their ups and downs but his momma was his entire world & more. He told me that daily when we were close. I hate that we didn’t reconnect before it was too late 💔. My DEEPEST condolences to his (NOT only blood but chosen) loved ones aswell ❤️‍🩹.

The I knew you since you were a little guy always wanting to be around me and your older brother as much as you could. We had a lot of good times together and helped each other through the bad ones. Words can’t express how much this hurts and how bad it feels knowing I’ll never be able to slap you up and hug you again. Life is strange and a lot of times very unfair and cruel. I will always cherish our memory’s in Lakeville at your grandpas house and the ones we shared down the road when your mom moved right into town. I know you’ll always be looking down with that smirk on your face. Love you Tye and until the lord places us in each other’s presence again you will be forever missed.
