Andy to me was more than a friend, but a true hero. He was a humble and gracious man and was instrumental in helping me set the record straight on my great uncle Amin’s death on June 6th 1944. Rest in peace Andy…. I will miss talking with you. Rest easy that the legacy of the 6th Beach Battalion will carry on. Fair winds and following seas dear friend.
To Maureen and family, Please accept my condolences on the loss of your father. I am sorry I cannot attend. My prayers and thoughts will be with you.
