Joyce M. Cole of Fairport: Passed away on November 21, 2019 at the age of 94. Survived by daughter Susan (Thomas) Smith; granddaughters Kelsey Smith, Kaitlin Rainville, and great granddaughter, Kayden Rainville. Joyce was a retiree of the Fairport Central School District where she served as a director of communications for many years, and was a longtime member of the Athenaeum/Osher Institute for lifelong learning at RIT. She will long be remembered for her love of learning and education, passion for crossword puzzles, baking cookies for her McArdle’s family, and love of her family, friends and community.
There will be a private celebration of Joyce’s life. Those wishing to may direct contributions to the Bushnell’s Basin Fire Department or charity of choice.
