Ted passed unexpectedly on Saturday August 31st, 2024. He is predeceased by his father, Anthony, mother Viola, brothers Paul, Tom and Dave, sister-in-law Kathy Colucci and niece Amy Colucci. He is survived by his best friend and wife, Roberta Ryan, brothers Bill Colucci and Dan Colucci, sisters-in-law Maureen Colucci, Linda Colucci and Sue Colucci, beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and dear, dear friends.
Ted was a proud graduate of McQuaid High School and obtained his degree in business at Empire State College. He had a successful career in banking with JP Morgan Chase, rising to Senior Vice President. He joined Neighborworks Rochester in 2011 and became Director of Lending, retiring from there in 2019.
Ted enjoyed golf and bowling, participating in leagues for both at Chase. He loved a good medieval mystery. In retirement he and Roberta traveled, enjoyed theater and music and became season seat holders at The Rochester Red Wings where they made good friends. He volunteered at The Tool Thrift Shop in Fairport and began woodworking in earnest.
He was well on his way to a full recovery from a long illness and felt good about life when he passed. The family is forever grateful to the staff and residents of GrandeVille Senior Living for their wonderful care and encouragement during his rehab there.
Calling Hours Sunday September 8, 2024 12noon-2PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt Location) 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport, where a Funeral Service will be held Monday September 9, 2024 at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers, please remember Ted by making donations to the two rescues that his “girls’, Sadie and Amy, came from: Susie Q Dog ResQ (Sadie) or Kitten Korner Rescue, Inc. (Amy).

Hi Laraine,
Thank you. As you can see, we are asking for donations to KKR in Ted’s name. There’ll be a couple pictures added shortly and you’ll recognize a furry face in one of them. He loved her (and both of them) to pieces.
Roberta sending my condolences. Ted was one of a kind and enjoyed working for him during my tenure at Chase. He will be missed very much.
Thanks very much, Scott. He could be a ball of fire, couldn’t he?
I remember Ted fondly at JP Morgan Chase. He was a wonderful person and colleague.

Thank you, guys. We always wanted to reconnect and had that in mind when he came home. Always enjoyed your company.
An easy person to love and know. Great sense of humor and will be missed at Redwings games. Heaven has a great guy.
He always looked forward to seeing you guys at the game.
Kind soul, RIP Great Uncle Ted.
So many wonderful memories with you, Uncle Ted. So much of who I am is rooted in time spent with you! You taught me everything from how to wash bar glasses to how to think about/care for animals. You challenged me to think outside the box. And I’m sure my sense of humor is partly youe fault!
Hugs to you, Roberta ❣️
Thank you Bob.
