Denysenko, Zachary (Zach) Nicholas

Zachary (Zach) Nicholas Denysenko, age 27 of Victor, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday January 26, 2025. He was the beloved son of Jennifer and Gregory Denysenko.

Zach is survived and missed by his loving fiance, Katherine (Kat) Hollien, and beautiful daughter, Lenora (Lenny) May Hollien. Zach was the cherished grandson of Joyce and John May and Jaroslava and Victor Denysenko. Zach was the sibling of Isabella (Michael) Clark, Natalia and Nathaniel Denysenko and beloved uncle of Joseph and Scarlett Clark. He also leaves behind aunts and uncles who loved him dearly. Among them are Julie and Kevin Saunders, Jaime and Mark Palamone, Lori and Joseph May, Christina and James Allen, and Sonya Denysenko, along with a host of cousins who adored him.

Zach had the most beautiful blue eyes, a smile and laugh that lit up the room, and a genuine love for his family and music. He was intelligent, witty, kind and generous to loved ones and strangers.

Zachary grew up in Irondequoit, NY where he attended Irondequoit High School and graduated in 2015. Throughout his life, Zach consistently enjoyed creating music. He was a talented violinist starting at age 3. He later self-taught himself guitar, which led him to participate in many bands and musical ventures. When Zach played the guitar, it came from his heart and soul, and that is when he felt most at peace.

Zachary’s free spirit led him to California, where he met the love of his life and they settled in San Diego. They enjoyed many beautiful adventures; hiking, camping and exploring. During these adventures, Zach made many soul connections. Every stranger was just a friend he hadn’t met yet.

His legacy will carry on through the life of his beautiful daughter, Lenora. Above all else, Zach was a proud and loving father. Lenora carries her father’s love for music, his contagious smile and genuine love for family and strangers alike. He will be missed forever and then some.

In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask to consider making a donation to support Zach’s daughter, Lenora. A custodial account where all funds will go directly towards her was created by Isabella Clark. Please contact her at isabelladenysenko@gmail.com for how to submit donations.
