It’s hard to find the words to express my deepest sympathy in the loss of your dad. Such a fun and vibrant personality! My heart goes out to each of you as you mourn the loss of Dick, as you are still grieving the loss of your mom. Love and hugs and wishing you all peace and comfort in knowing that they are together again. xo Sara
Brad, I’m so sorry to hear of your parents passing. Prayers for you and your family.
So sad to hear of Dick’s passing so soon after Sue. They were the loveliest couple. Such wonderful friends to my parents, sharing so many happy memories. I know how fantastic they were as parents and grandparents and how you all will miss them. With deep sympathy and with much love, Holly, Martyn Phoebe and Lucy
I live on Nettlecreek Road. Although we were not close, we were good friends. My wife and I would frequently stop in front of your house, on Clarkes Crossing, to chat with your Mom and Dad as we walked around the block. Dick and I also shared some common interests. We both loved sports, especially local sports. Of course, we didn’t share the outcome of “Little Brown Jug football games. I also attended the U of R where we were PsiU Brothers. (Dick graduated a year before I attended) We loved to ski and were members at Ski Valley and have many fond memories of those days.
Dick and Susanne were wonderful people. My sincere condolences for your lose. Prayers for all. .
Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Richard and Suzanne at this sad time.
We have fond memories of Dick & Sue, from gatherings with IBM team mates, trips to Saint Barts, and visits to their lovely home in the Bristol Hills and Fairport.
They were a true inspiration of love and commitment. Sending our thoughts and prayers to the family at this time.
So sorry to hear of the passing of Dick and Sue. We feel fortunate to have met and develop a relationship with them when we purchased their log home in the Bristol Hills. We always looked forward to a visit from Dick when he was still travelling to Naples for a haircut. Their spirits live on in this beautiful home they built and we think of them often. –Sandy & Gary Antinelli
My deepest condolences to Craig, Brad and Brett and your families over the loss of your beautiful parents in such a short time span. As you know, I had a long friendship with you Dad that dated back to 1985 when I first joined IBM. Your Dad and I just clicked since day one. We maintained a very nice relationship over the decades along with my husband and your Mom. We always stayed in touch, and while the visits became less frequent, the conversations maintained. Dev was very special to me. He not only was a great mentor but also like my second father, and since I had lost my Dad a very young age, for that, I will be forever grateful. I can only aspire to the fact that perhaps I was like a daughter to him. He and your Mom were exemplary role models on how to live well; prioritizing time with family and good friends, enjoying fine music, travel, the arts, games, decor, and great food experiences. Speaking of which, what an amazing cook and lovely hostess your Mom was! I have many recipes and memories of some fantastic meals! I feel privileged to have had such a beautiful friendship. And how they always spoke of the three of you, your spouses and their grandchildren! I feel like I’ve been a part of your family for decades. I wish you nothing but living out the great spirit that was within them, passing this along to future generations. I will miss them both dearly.
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of our dear neighbor, Dick. He and his wife Sue were a delight!! May their memory always be a blessing.
