June (Kozsdiy) DiSanferdinando, 79, of Rochester, NY, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 16, 1946, in Rochester, where she lived her life devoted to her family and friends. 

June was predeceased by her beloved husband of 56 years, John DiSanferdinando, Jr., and their son, Anthony DiSanferdinando. Her love and devotion to them carried through her life, and their memories were always close to her heart. 

A dedicated homemaker, June also enjoyed managing and maintaining the rental properties she and her husband owned together for over 30 years. She took great pride in her work and found fulfillment in building a legacy for her family. June was happiest when spending time at her home in Florida, where she created countless cherished memories. She especially loved going on cruises and visiting casinos, always embracing the fun and adventure of life. 

She is survived by her loving children, Nick (Susan) DiSanferdinando and Kim (Eric) Hynes, and by her cherished daughter-in-law, Patty DiSanferdinando. June was a proud and devoted grandmother to Anthony, Angelina, Nicholas, and Michael DiSanferdinando, and Jordyn and Hailey Hynes. She also leaves behind her sisters, Barbara Arnone and Kathie Hinman, her brother, Salvatore Sparviero, and sister-in-law, Ann Cocoran. June will be remembered fondly by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. 

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, September 3rd, from 5–7PM at Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt location)7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 4th, at 10:00 AM in the All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, with interment to follow.

  3. Being around June, she was so full of joy and laughter and she was a shinning star!
    Our families grew up next door to each other and I have many memories including our cruise “of 4 Sisters” together filled with much laughter and enjoyment over silly things.

  4. June was a special ‘one of a kind’ vibrant lady. I am the sister of Anna Wallace above and it was such a joy to reconnect with Her last year on our very fun cruise. May She be at Peace. May God Bless Her and her Family.
