Bryan was my faithful friend and Landlord from August 1999 to April 2022. Bryan was a very precious friend. We worked together fixing up the Kelly apartments before new tenants arrived. Back in September 1999, Bryan sold me His 1997 Toyota Pickup truck which I drove till January 2013 when the moter blew up as I was crossing over Okaloosa Island into Ft Walton Bch FL.
Bryan was such a wonderful Friend. Hopefully Bryan is in a Splendid place now where there is no pain physically or mentally speaking. Oh the many memories Bryan and I shared. All my Love to Bryan’s Friends and Family and sincerely David George Wanless Jr
He was a very kind and generous man to my mother (Lynn). I felt like i knew him the whole time they were friends. My siblings and I share in your grief.
I’m so sorry to hear this. Mr. dumka was a true friend a beautiful soul and one sharp cookie. I’m very saddened by the news. He will be in my heart always.
Sincerely,
He was a true GODsend in helping my father, Howard, in so many ways. God bless him amd the family. Peace to each of you.
I did not know Bryan well: We were seperated by miles and time. His father and my father were twins, so the bond of family was close. I connected with him after his elder brother found me with an internet search, and I followed his blog for years thereafter. I learned that we shared a lot, most especially his wry humor, his love of things Russian, and his love of cats. Something has gone missing from my life, but I think he’ll be watching over us all.
I knew Bryan about 30 years. I miss him a great deal. We had much in common, I was a regular commenter on his Why Now? blog. We had many interesting chats.
I only just found out he had passes away. I last chatted with him late 2024, I was recovering from major surgery.
Bryan was an amazing and wonder ful Human. Our World is lessened by his passing. Rest, in peace dear Brian. You did much for us. Time to rest now. I thank you for your Service. From one Serviceman to another.
