My name is Sheila Briggs. I came to know both your Mom and Dad because of my Father. Your parents – through The Church of Assumption – would come and visit with my Dad. Sometimes they would go for a ride, sometimes they got an ice cream and sometimes your Mom brought over cookies or sometimes they just called. I am so grateful to them for the love they showed to my Dad. Your parents were very special.

Thankyou Mary for letting me know about your Dad. The short time I spent with him at his home was a great experience for me. He was so kind to me and I enjoyed being in his presense, though it was brief. I could tell by how he talked about you, your brother and the family he loved you all so much and was so proud of all of you. I certainly considered it an honor and a privledge to know your Dad. I am sure he is now with your Mother and with his Savior and Lord. Thanks for letting me be a part of your Dad’s life. It was a joy to assist him and just be his friend! God bless you and comfort you during this difficult time.
