I remember your dad well! As kids when we attended parties in the basement of your home, your dad and mom were very kind and gracious. Whenever I saw him he always recognized me and said hello and asked about my family. What a wonderful man. I will keep him in my prayers.
Thank you John . He certainly loved a party and was a gracious gentleman. Please keep in your memories.
We were honored to meet Mr Farchione at the wedding of his grand daughter, Jennifer. He was an incredible man. Our hearts go out to your family.
Dear Mary Jean,Joanne, Linda,Donna,Sharon and Dan,
unfortunately we can not attend Uncle Dan’s funeral but we send our sincere condolences. We have so many fond and memerble memories that we will always hold on our hearts. My mom Marie made sure that we knew all about her Uncle Dan. She was so proud of her Uncle’s character as a devoted family man and his accomplishments. We were the family from Connecticut but we sure did know about our NY State Family! I call it the Farchione Dynasty. Sending lots of hugs and prayers. My mom now has all her favorite uncle’s with her. Love to all. Rest in peace uncle Dan.
Brenda, thank you for your kind words. He was so fond of your Mom and family. Thank you for your support.
Linda, your father was so much fun! We had great times at parties in your rec room and working in the ice cream stand. Your dad always made me feel so welcome and I was at your home on Rochester Road a lot! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Thank you Linda. What wonderful warm memories we did have fun! Those were the days. Hope to see you soon.
I too remember all the parties in the basement of your home. I never knew your dad was a POW. Like most Vets, they kept that kind information close. I’m glad he survived his captivity so that he could have such a wonderful family. I’m grateful for his service. They were the “greatest generation”.
Thank you Linda. What wonderful warm memories we did have fun! Those were the days. Hope to see you soon.
Linda, I am so sorry about your dad passing. Although I did not know him, I saw comments from other classmates that said he was a fabulous man. It is because of your dads service and sacrifices we are able to enjoy the freedoms we have. I hope you feel comfort with all the great memories you have of him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.
Linda, You and I were blessed to have wonderful World War II Veterans for our Daddies…May happy memories warm your heart, and caring friends surround you with comfort at this time…Thoughts and Prayers are with you and your family…
