I first met Mary Anne 50 years ago at a Wittenberg Alumni meeting in Rochester.Over the years , our friendship grew
and I was so pleased when she assumed the presidency of the University’s National Alumni Council in 2004. She was
one of our leaders here in Rochester until the end. I had the privilege of dining with Mary Anne this past summer. We had a
wonderful time of thinking back on our friendship and all of the wonderful Rochester alumni of Wittenberg who reside here
in Rochester. I especially cherish the time we spent even more so since losing her. Mary Anne was a woman of faith and a class
act. Her legacy is solidified for the ages and we who knew her have been blessed with her friendship and love.
