Suzanne W.Ferraro
Suzanne Whitman Ferraro died peacefully on July 13, 2024 after a long illness. She is survived by her beloved husband Robert, and predeceased her brothers William and Stephen.
When Suzanne accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, the world changed. She was on-fire with His message of love, hope, and salvation. Suzanne’s enthusiasm carried her around the world. She usually led groups of willing believers to foreign lands. They traveled to China, Australia, New Zealand, and across Africa to Kenya and Ethiopia. They went to Israel many times and visited most of the countries in Western Europe.
She had a life-changing story, including her personal testimony which often changed lives. She deeply loved her husband Robert who always supported her ministries through 12 years of friendship and then 30 years of marriage.
The flame of the fire for God and His work never went out. Home was always the place where she could spend more time in prayer and meditation and see what was next on God’s to-do list. And of course, the neighborhood was blessed by the annual Christmas party of carolers.
A Bible verse from the Apostle Paul now fits, and without sorrow: “To live is Christ, and to die is gain.” She gained eternity forever, through her obedience to our Lord. “Well done good and faithful servant.”
A Memorial service is planned for Elim Life Church. The information below will direct you to leave a note, if you choose. May God bless you richly!

Dear Bob,
Sorry to hear about Suzanne. My wife and I are unable to attend the funeral for we will be at a wedding out of town. You will be in our prayers, for our Lord’s Comfort and Peace to be upon you during this time.
We know that Suzanne is now in our Lord’s Presence, experiencing her wonderful Lord, as is promised to us in the Bible, Gods Love Letter to us.
We remember how Suzanne has a deep love and faith in our Lord Jesus. And we know where she is today. How God has promised her, and us, in John 3:16 whoever believes in Jesus, should not perish but have eternal life.
Gods Promise: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son (Jesus), that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
Remembering when I first met Suzanne. Seeing her love for Jesus, when a group of us started to meet for prayer at a Kodak Office Conference Room during the 1990’s. We would pray for our city and country. I saw the love she has from a personal loving relationship with a loving God, through her faith in Jesus.
When thinking of Suzanne, many promises of God come to mind….
About Love: (Jesus says) As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. (written in John 15:9-11)
To Be at Peace: (Today remembering what Jesus says) “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in Me. (written in John 14:1)
To Have Faith in Jesus: Also remembering that faith comes from hearing, and hearing the Words of Christ. (Written in Romans 10:17)
She is a Child of God: But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become Children of God, (Written in John 1:12)
Jesus is Suzanne’s Bread of Life. May Jesus be our Bread of Life also.
Eternal Life is Given to those who believe in Jesus: (Jesus said) Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. (written in John 6:47)
In His Presence: You make known to me the path of life; in Your Presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (King David writes in Psalm 16:11)
This song came to mind, while thinking about what Suzanne may be feeling at this moment in eternity.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. (written in Romans 15:13)
We will see you again, Suzanne, when our work is done here.
Amen.
Being with Suzanne was accompanied by a breath of fresh Holy Spirit air! Don and I went to her for prayerful discernment when considering a decision. She was the most faithful prayer warrior we knew. Psalm 63:7-8 reminds me of her: ”Because You are my help, I sing in the shadow of Your wings. My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me.” I grieve your loss with you, Bob, and pray that God will hold you close in the shadow of His wings and give you a song as you cling to Him. Isaiah 26:3 ~ “He will keep in perfect peace all who trust in Him, all whose thoughts are fixed on Him.”
With love in Jesus and praying 2 Cor 1:3-5 that “the God of all comfort, comfort you in your time of need.”
We are so saddened to hear this news. Bob please know that our prayers are with you. We know that at this very moment Suzanne is well and dancing in body, mind and spirit, and that we will see her again. God’s promise of Hope is our assurance of Eternal Joy!
Bob, so very sorry for your deep loss. Suzanne made a difference in our church and in the world. Our hearts go out to you as we received this news from Sharon Oppedisano.
In Christ, Eric and Cindy Scott
Suzanne is being fondly remembered as a dear and caring soul. I remember our work in CREO and many of the famous Christmas gatherings. It was such a blessing to have known Suzanne’s light and love. Thinking of you Bob in your time a sorrow, know that she is dancing in heaven.
