Jennie F. Fonte passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026, a few days after her 100th birthday.
The last survivor of seven children, she gifted her family and friends with love, laughs, and the best holiday food in Rochester. When not researching recipes or playing games on her iPad, she could be found in her garden, which brought her great joy.
Jennie is predeceased by her loving husband Dan Fonte. She is survived by sons Leonard Fonte and Dan Fonte, beloved sister-in-law Nora Riccioni (Vincent), grandchildren Kim Ackerman (Bill Knitter), Scott Fonte (Jill), Janelle James (Chris), and great-grandsons, Taylor and Casey Ackerman, Luke and Dean Fonte, Danny and Bryan James, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Jennie’s honor to Highland Hospital Acute Care for the Elderly (A.C.E.).
