Harry Fraysier 1931 -2021
Greatly loved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Harry passed away peacefully Oct. 15, 2021.
He attended West High School in Rochester, and was a graduate of Bucknell University. He worked for Bausch and Lomb for many years and then was employed by Monroe County Crime Lab as a forensic chemist.
He enjoyed singing in barbershop harmony groups. He sang in quartets all through high school and college and then joined the Rochester Chorus of the Genesee, being a member for 60 plus years. He sang in numerous quartets and enjoyed attending shows and competitions.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and camping with family and friends.
He is predeceased by grandson Daniel Fraysier. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 yrs., Phyllis, sons Michael (Christina) Fraysier, John (Margaret) Fraysier, and daughter Janet Fraysier Stutzman (Richard).
He leaves 6 grandchildren: Carly Fraysier, Steven Fraysier, Lynn Fraysier Torres, Jill Stutzman McCarthy, Karin Stutzman Keehr, and Christopher Stutzman and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service Saturday October 23, 11AM at the Fairport First Baptist Church 94 South Main Street, Fairport
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the First Baptist Church of Fairport, or the Chorus of the Genesee.

Deepest sympathy on your loss. May fond memories warm your hearts
I first met Harry in late 1964 when I joined The Fun-damentals. Over the years, Harry and I were in several “Katch as Katch Kan” quartet contests: we NEVER won, but had a ball trying! Thanks for the fond memories, my friend!!!

I was an honor to have known Harry who I met through my parents Ruth and Gordie. I sang with Harry in the chorus for many years and he will sorely missed.

I have many memories of Harry as my next door neighbor . I always enjoyed my back yard conversations with him . My prayers are with the Fraysier family . I am so sorry for your loss.
I knew Harry as a fellow co-worker who I always admired. A wonderful family man and a great scientist, humble and unassuming. An honor to have known him.
