I cherish memories created with Angela mostly helping at the radio broadcast of Pronto Italia for a few years. Your memory will linger in our hearts. Myself, Tina, Cristina and Rita bid you farewell and praying for your everlasting peace. We shall miss your effervescent laugh.
Sending condolences to Angela’s family and friends…I had the pleasure of working with her at Northside School during the first several years of my career in the Fairport District, starting in 1985. Angela was always very kind to me. I recall that students would quote to me her encouraging statements to them about the value of education. I also enjoyed watching her on television. She will be missed!
“zia Angioletta” was my funniest “American aunt”, which I had the opportunity to meet every year in Sicily, together with my uncle Mike. I cannot forget my unique travel to USA lasted all summer, when I was just 14 years old in 1984. zia Angioletta, together with my uncle Mike and my special cousins Michaelantony and Nick made me have an unforgettable summer holyday, by visiting many fantastic places (Niagara Falls, Thousands islands, etc.), but above all she taught myself to write and speak english, an important and fundamental skill which helped my personal working career, also today when, as Emilia Romagna regional helicopter base Commander inside the Italian Firefighters I continue to use english language for my daily life. I will never forget zia Angioletta and I will continue to love her for all my life.
Heartfelt sympathy to the Gatto family.
Angela was a generous supporter of the IACC and a good friend to all she met. She will be missed.

Mrs. Gatto was my fifth grade teacher. She was a wonderful teacher and person. I remember going to her house at the end of the year for a picnic. And she drove an awesome cat. ( camero or trans am I can’t remember which) May she Rest In Peace
I am saddened that Angela has left our world; she added a wonderous light to my life that is already sorely missed. My heart aches for her loving family. I wish that my family and I could have attended her memorium; the current plague had made it just too risky for us to be there. Please know that we love you and have prayed for you. I love you Angela, thank you for being a wonderful friend, mentor, and person of faith, strength, love, and joy!
