Carol Gizzo, of Fairport, NY passed away peacefully with her children by her side, on September 27, 2026 at the age of 68.
Born on January 17, 1958 in Syracuse, NY, Carol was the daughter of Earl and Joan Jackson. Throughout her life, she was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who cherished the people closest to her.
She will be remembered for the shared laughter, familiar stories, her love for the beach and sunshine-filled days, and the time spent making memories with those she loved.
Carol is survived by her children, Courtney Bugbee, James (Tina) Cahill, and Carrie Cahill; her grandchildren, Saige Cahill and Ollie Cahill; her siblings, Deborah Jackson, Linda Riesman, Jill (Chris) Warren, Nancy (Brett) Berry, and AnnMarie (Dean) Kennedy; and her stepmother, Elnore Jackson. She also leaves behind many extended family members and cherished friends who will miss her dearly.
Though she is deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, and in the lives she touched.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport, NY.

Thank you for showing a recent picture of Carol before she went to the hospital. We were never very close, but our paths did cross throughout many phases of life. Hers was a life cut short. I am truly sorry to hear of her passing. With sympathy, Teri
