Victor – Went home to the Lord on July 8, 2018 at age 93.

 

 

He was predeceased by his wife, Dolores, they were married 63 years. He leaves his loving children, Debra (Chuck) Resch, Bob (Laurie) Gleason, Linda (Steve) Rioux, Diane Gleason, Tom (Jasmine) Gleason and Dave (Jodie) Gleason; 19 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Thompson; sister-in-law, Evelyn Gleason; brother-in-law, Larry Kreitzberg; many nieces and nephews.  George was a graduate of Aquinas High School and earned a Bachelor degree in economics from Niagara University. He was a Sergeant in the United States Air Force in World War II fighting in the Pacific during which he was a prisoner of war. He worked at Bausch & Lomb for 42 years where he started at an entry level position working up to the head of their customer service department. (Tramadol) George was an avid golf and football fan.  His family gives a special thank you to the people of Legacy at Fairways in Victor and the staff of the 7th floor of Highland Hospital and the staff of the Veterans Association of Canandaigua and Westfall offices.

Calling hours, Friday 6-8 PM at Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road (Egypt location), Fairport. Funeral Mass, Saturday 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Macedon. This was one of his favorite charities.
