John “Jack” W Gorski has passed away at home suddenly on February 13, 2025. He was with his wife of 66 years and still active. He was 88 years young. He will be missed.
Jack is survived by his wife, Carole, 3 sons, John, James, and Richard, 2 grandchildren, Amy and Italia and step-grandchildren, Michael and Andrew. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He graduated from Elmira College and had a successful career as an engineer developing X-ray technology and medical imaging. He was happiest working with tools and machines. He could fix just about anything.
If you were in trouble, he wouldn’t ask questions but would come running to help.
There will be a celebration of Jack’s life to be announced at a later date.
Donations in Jack’s honor can be made to St Luke’s Episcopal Church in Fairport or your favorite charity.
