Grassel, Randy S.

Fairport, NY: Passed away on May 7, 2015 surrounded by his family. Born in Rochester on December 19th 1952. Randy is survived by his high school sweetheart his loving wife of 41 years Patty (Howe), his children Zeb, Daniel (Wendy), Jennifer (David) Houle and the lights of his life; his grandchildren, Cooper, Owen, Emma and Nora. Also, his siblings Vern (Laurie), Paul (Susan) and Mary Ellen Smith as well as many brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews, aunts and cousins. Randy was a devoted and thoughtful husband, father and Papa.

A 1970 graduate of McQuaid Jesuit, a SUNY Geneseo alumni, a longtime employee of Xerox Corp. and a dedicated coach for over 30 years sharing his passion, knowledge and love of basketball, starting with his children at a young age, and ending with his time coaching in Section V.

Friends and Family may call Sunday May 17th 1-4PM at Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford-Palmyra Rd, Egypt. A Funeral Mass will he held Monday May 18th 10AM at St. John of Rochester Church, Fairport. Interment will he private.
