Gary always made me smile with his greeting of “Hi bubbles.” He was a kind and caring person who took the time to do the little things to make people’s day better.

I am deeply saddened to hear this news. Gary was my go to person at work. I will always remember the way he closed our phone conversations with “ba-bye-bye-bye.” Kind hearted and dog lover. Prayers for his family ❤️

I am shocked to hear the news of Gary’s passing! Gary was a longtime colleague and friend – a “go-to” guy when a problem arose with the computer systems. He was an expert and a wonderful human being. Every conversation was a highlight of the day. I mourn his passing but am confident that he is being welcomed into Paradise. May his noble soul rest in peace.

Thanks to all for the sympathy and kind words for Gary starting to be posted here. From the Fredericks-Gunther family they are much appreciated. Gary was a wonderful, loving brother, uncle and great uncle or “gruncle” as my kids called him. He will be missed.

I saw Gary at work a few days before his passing. We were coordinating some logistical needs for the start of Buffalo Bills training camp. I joked with Gary that it was nice to see him for a reason other than because he was investigating DMCA violations. Gary was very intelligent and always kind. He will be missed.

I will miss Gary very much. When I began working at Fisher 27 years ago, I knew I had met a kindred spirit when I saw him wearing a Star Trek communicator pin at a training session he was teaching. We also shared a love of movies over many genres and generations. He was also so generous in lending his movies for me to watch. I was unaware of how ill he was as he never dwelled on such things, but preferred to talk about the things he enjoyed and would eagerly suggest movies I should watch. I will remember him that way, and also his great love for Rocky, who was featured in so many of his Facebook photos. Gary was a good man, and a patriotic American. May he rest in peace.

I will miss Gary! He always greeted me by asking “how’s life in the fast lane?”. He brought a smile to my face any time I had the chance to speak with him. My thoughts are with his friends and family – this is an enormous loss.

I worked with him for 7 years and to say he had a kind heart would be an understatement. He will be missed.

I was shocked to hear about Gary’s passing, having worked with him for almost 24 years at Fisher. He has always so helpful, especially in the early days when I needed him to install government software with floppy disks. In recent years I would tease him that I saw him more often at our local Wegmans than at work. I will miss him. He was always kind and patient. My prayers go out to the entire Fredericks-Gunther family.
