Timothy M. Hedges,66, Walworth, NY left us suddenly January 1, 2024.

Predeceased by his parents John and Mary; his sister Ann, and his brother Joe.

Survived by his loving wife Alison (Johnson) and his two furry children, Gretchen and Ava ;his brother John (Molly) Hedges; his brother Mark Hedges; his sisters Martha (John) Knapp, Cathy Nenno, and Peggy Levy, nieces and nephews, and many, many friends and colleagues.

Tim graduated from Bishop Kearney high school and went on to graduate from Villanova University with a Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering.  He had many career opportunities in manufacturing, especially Eastman Kodak and Xerox.

Tim met many lifelong friends through his love of golfing and skiing.

Tim excelled at both and truly enjoyed being outdoors with family and friends.

Memories of his family throughout his life were always a joy to listen to.  Tim’s family values were a great pride to him and made him the best person he could be.  Being one of eight children brought with it many life adventures, sharing stories around the dinner table, vacations etc. that were so dear to him.  These stories and more will forever be with him and his family.

Tim and his wife Alison loved to travel, host friends for dinner, sitting outdoors around a bonfire reliving precious memories, but most importantly was their love of dogs.  These dogs were always rescues that were given a second chance at life.  Our vet would always inform them at the first visit that they would be living at the Ritz!

We hope you remember Tim as the thoughtful, kind and loving person he was.  The world has lost a great man much too soon.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Honor Flight Rochester, Lollypop Farm, or a charity of your choice.

Your partnership provided a model for the rest of us. Above all else, you were friends first and it showed in every way. So thank you. And I can’t even imagine how much harder that bond makes this kind of loss. I can only hope you can find some peace in your many, many joyous memories of Tim. Jill and I will be making a donation to Lollipop Farm in his name.

I am one of the many co-workers who will dearly miss Tim at the DIY store in Penfield.
I have know Tim a little over a half year. He helped train me in the electrical department. At work Tim was always very helpful and friendly with the customers and fellow employees.
We had similar prior careers; working in various engineering organizations at major industrial companies, so we got along well.
I am really glad to have worked with Tim.

Alison, after recently talking with Tim hearing this tragic news is a gut punch. I first met him in Kodak Copy Products where we first became friends. Then after our time in Tijuana. Our friendship was cemented. We had boundless laughs and experiences. I’ll never forget his laugh and just over all zest for life. When we last spoke, much of it was about you and just how happy he was being your main dude.. God Bless you and your family.

My heart is broken for you Alison. My father just shared this news with me. The last time I saw Tim was at a party with you at my parents (Gary & Gretchen) home, many moons ago, and the way he was with you and spoke of you was pure and simple adoration. Tim was just such a great guy!!! So friendly and outgoing and he had such a great sense of humor. The SoCal stories were legendary with that Kodak group. I’m so very sorry for this tremendous loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you and all of Tim’s family tonight.
