**In Loving Memory of Nichole Alexandra Ragsdale Hulse***

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nichole Alexandra Ragsdale Hulse, who died unexpectedly on July 10th, 2024. Born on December 6th, 2002, she was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend.

Nichole was a cherished member of her adoptive family, where she found love and support from her mother, Susan E. Hulse, her maternal grandmother, Nancy Hulse, her aunt and uncle, Deborah Slais (Brian) and Jeffrey Hulse (Melanie), and her many cousins. She brought joy and light to their lives and will be remembered for her kindness and loving spirit. She was also deeply loved by her biological family. She is survived by her paternal grandmother, Bobbie Ragsdale whose love was steadfast as well as many other biological relatives. Their bond remained strong, and her memory will forever be cherished by them.

Nichole had a strong love and sense of responsibility when it came to caring for young children and this brought her to work at Generations Daycare where she had become an integral part of their team. She will be missed by those who have worked alongside her as well as the young children whom she greatly enjoyed caring for.

Nichole faced many battles, and despite the love and support surrounding her, she ultimately succumbed to her struggles. Her passing is a heartbreaking reminder of the importance of mental health care and the need for compassion and understanding. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Nichole’s memory at Hillside to help others who are struggling and to raise awareness about mental health issues. Donations may be made online at Hillside.com or by mailing checks to: Hillside Foundation, PO Box 1901, Albany, NY 12201-1901

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on August 21st, 2024 at the Prayer Chapel of the Father’s House, 692 Paul Rd, Rochester NY 14623, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Nichole’s life, share memories, and find solace in one another’s company.

Nichole’s bright and sweet spirit, tender heart, beautiful smile, and infectious laugh will be deeply missed, but her love and memory will remain in our hearts forever. May she rest in peace.

Dear Susan, Nancy and others close to Nicole in her daily life. Words cannot describe how sad and painful this must be for all of you. She was so loved but despite that could not overcome her own struggles. I want to say that Nicole did everything she could to help herself but sadly she could not find her place here on earth. She was such a beautiful woman inside and out. It saddens me greatly to see this happen to such a young person. May she rest in peace. 🤍
