Yolanda Mildred Ingrassia, age 89, of Rochester, New York, passed away on October 24, 2023. Yolanda was born on April 3, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Grace and Salvatore Romano. (Valium)
Yolanda, also known as Mom, Nannie, and Aunt Chalanda, was very proud of her Italian heritage and traditions. In her free time, Yolanda enjoyed being active in her Church and cherished the moments spent with friends and family. She found great joy in hosting family holidays. She loved to reminisce about people, places and events from many many years ago and her involvement with the Sons of Italy, the Red Hats Society, Genetaska and Church group. She loved bargain shopping, cooking, learning new recipes, playing bingo, scrabble and hosting card parties.
Yolanda is survived by her children: Adam(Amy), Linda, Stephen, David(Jennifer), and Angelo(Sally) She was also a loving grandmother to Alexa, Vincent, Ariana, Yolanda, Abbirose, Linda, Stefani, James, Adam, Mason, Ava, Madison, Christopher, Michael, Sam, Nina, Angelo, Kelly, and Dino. Additionally, Yolanda leaves behind 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Her sister Francis and brother Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo, Granddaughter Yolanda, Grandson Michael as well as her brothers John, Phillip, Santo, Anthony, James and sisters, Josephine, and Sarah and Tina.
