Beautifully said, LuAnn was one very special lady. My deepest condolences to all of you. May she rest in peace.
I went to Lu’s Back Door as a child and recall what a God send they were for our family. Lu and her Mom were wonderful. We recall shopping there in the village when they first started out and shopped there for many many years., 35… sympathies to the family ..
I have also shopped there for decades! Starting with my mom in the 70’s. Lovely sweet, friendly lady!

Gary and family, I played tennis with Luann way back when she worked with her Mom Lu. Later, I enjoyed her friendly help at Lu’s Back Door. So sorry for your loss.
A hard time for all of you and I hope you find comfort in each other. I’ve always recommended Lu’s to my friends and been a shopper for over 30 years.
My sincere sympathy. LuAnn was always so gracious to me when I shopped at the store.
This is the saddest news…LuAnn was a ray of sunshine, a kind and gentle soul with the most beautiful smile that welcomed you into her heart! Her spirit will be sorely missed in our little corner of the world. Rest assured that the Angels are guiding her on her journey. May the Angels grace you all with their blessings and thank you for sharing LuAnn with us.
Gary and family, I am so saddened by this news. I first met LuAnn at the store & ended up working for her. I held her on a pedestal & learned so much from her. She was such a devoted hard worker but always enjoyed her customers & treated people the way she would like to be treated. Please find peace in her memories, God Bless!!

LuAnn was such a gracious person. When my daughter was going to be in hospital in Buffalo she outfitted me for the long stay. I was so afraid and she took me in and picked outfits to wear for a long stay . She would call me if some thing came in that she tough I would like.
Most of all she was wonderful to just talk to about both our lives . She will be missed ,prayers to her family

She was so full of life and its hard to imagine the world without her bright smile in it, Our hearts are broken….Craig and I thought the world of her and will treasure all the memories we’ve made…. lake parties, Christmas parties, birthdays, graduations, day trips, you name it she was all in. Gary, you and LuAnn brought our family together in so many ways. I hope you find comfort in all the wonderful memories you’ve made. Heaven has a special angel.
LuAnn will remain in my heart forever.
I was so saddened to hear that LuAnn passed away. I met her at the shop over 22 years ago. She had success and a great reputation for her business long before consignment was popular and surely created a model for other shops to follow. She had a knack for hiring people that made us feel welcome and special, like we were visiting friends in her home. I have often thought of her over the years, hoping that she was at the lake, fully enjoying her retirement. I will pray for all her loved ones.
I am so sorry to hear that LuAnn has passed, I always enjoyed her moxie and infectious personality. My deepest condolences.
Condolences to LuAnn’s Family. I only met her and Gary a few times. I was invited to her mother’s cottage on Honeye Lake. Her and my uncle Dick invited me for the weekend. LuAnn and Gary came in their boat and took us for a ride and to a restaurant. She was the life of the party. LuAnn was full of life and always ready for the next adventure. She is gone way too soon.
My heart is so very heavy learning of LuAnne’s passing, I tried to emulate her knack of a highly skilled salesperson, her easiness, her smile, her laugh, her humor, her gentleness., so much more.
LuAnne was a mentor to me, I had a consignment shop in Corning, Closet Treasures. LuAnn helped me considerably, along with her Mother Lu. She was such a wonderful sweet soul. My hubby and I have many memories of our trips to Rochester.
