Johnston, Brad Lockwood

Brad Lockwood Johnston

9/26/74 – 4/4/23

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Brad Lockwood Johnston.  Brad passed away peacefully at Highland Hospital on Tuesday April 4, 2023. surrounded by his brother and close friends.  Brad is predeceased by his parents Gary and Sheila survived by his three children Zach, Kaiden, and Jace, his brothers Aaron (Bridget), and Kirk, his nephews Ian and Tyler, his uncle & aunt, Mark and Michelle Florack, and many loved family members.

Brad left this earth way too soon at the age of 48.  He was an extremely funny person, who loved telling stories.  Brad had many talents, however most noted was his natural gift as a Hair Stylist.  Brad’s greatest love was his children Kaiden and Jace.  They were his entire world.

We would like to give a special thanks to the many caregivers at Highland Hospital that gave Brad compassion and support for many years.

Please join us for a celebration of Brads Life on Friday May 26th 3pm to 4pm at the All-Seasons Chapel located at White Haven Memorial Park Pittsford NY.

In lieu of flowers please send a donation to Highland Hospital.  You will find a link on their website.

I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of Brad. So many years ago, I babysat for the brothers and I remember him so well as such a gentle soul. My Dad Reggie and Brads dad Gary worked together for many years at Bethany Trailers and I have so many fond memories of the Johnston family…?

I have been a very good friend of this family since Aaron and Bridgets wedding. Brad grew up around the best a family could offer him. Fantastic parents and brothers, relatives. He was a very good friend of mine and will alway be remembered. Brad will join his mom and dad who are watching over all the family. Rest in peace my friend. Muffy

I worked with Brad at the family deal we ship. He was a jokester. We stayed in touch over the years. He called me after his Mom passed. We talked for quite a while. I am sad of his passing. He will be missed. RIP my friend.

I was saddened to hear about Brad’s passing. We will always remember him being so good with our children at Myrtle Beach when we were there with him and our cousin Sheila back in the 90’s. I was happy to have recently visit Sheila and Brad at their house. We had some good talks! Now you are with your mom and dad in Heaven Brad!
