Our family was fortunate to have Mr. Labb, Jim, and family as our neighbors and friends for many years. Jim was always a pleasure to meet out walking around the block or hanging out with dad. He always had a kind word and a wonderful way about him. RIP Mr. Labb.
My heartfelt condolences to the The Labb family and friends. I know he’ll be greatly miss by all that knew him.

Jim was a wonderful man who always had a kind word for everyone. I worked in your mom’s doctor’s office and enjoyed our conversations. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Kathryn introduced me to her Dad at church. He was a genuinely kind man with a good heart. My children and I would often see Kathryn and Jim at a coffee shop after Mass, and we looked forward to talking to them! Jim eagerly asked my children questions and showed much interest in their lives. He also always had a humorous comment! Before his wife’s passing, I recall seeing the two of them at Wegmans cafe. How beautiful to see the sweetness they had for each other after over 50 years of marriage! During Jim’s stay at Heathwood Assisted Living, my daughters, with part-time serving jobs, loved taking to Jim! He was their favorite resident! What an outstanding man who will be truly missed! His devotion to God, his family, his country, and career along with his enthusiasm for life showed the beauty of his soul! I pray for the Lord to comfort Kathryn and her family. Jim is truly enjoying the Glory of Heaven.

I knew Kathryn from the bank, and it was at church where I met her sweet Mom and Dad. Jim was such a genuinely kind man! After Mass, my daughters and I frequented a coffee shop where we often saw Kathryn and Jim. He always asked my children questions, showed such interest in their lives, and remembered details about each of them. Jim always had a humorous comment! Before his wife passed, I would see the two of them at Wegmans cafe on a regular basis. How wonderful to observe the love between them after over 50 years of marriage! While Jim was at Heathwood Assisted Living, my daughters, with part-time jobs as servers, looked forward to talking to him. Jim was their favorite resident! Jim’s devotion to God, his family, his country, and his career, and his enthusiasm for life showed the beauty of his soul. He exemplified what it means to be a Christian through his service to others. My prayers go out to Jim’s family.

Jim was such a wonderful person! I had the opportunity to work with your Dad as a young Sales person in Dow’s Rochester Sales Office from 1983 to 1987. Your Dad was a great role model for all of the younger Sales Representatives in the office. He always had time to talk whenever we had questions and provide guidance and encouragement. I always enjoyed his pleasant personality, positive attitude, sense of humor and smile. I moved back to Midland, MI in 1987 but always traveled back to Fairport to visit Brenda. We enjoyed staying in touch with your Mom and Dad down thru the years meeting for lunch or dinner and in more recent years meeting for coffee at Wegman’s whenever I visited Fairport. Your Mom and Dad were very proud of both of you! We will miss your Mom and Dad but look forward to seeing them again in heaven! Kathy and Jim you are in our thoughts and prayers! With Love, Tom Carr and Brenda Baroody
