Lori was born on June 28th, 1967. She was a graduate of Fairport High School, where she created lifelong, deep friendships that still remain.
Lori will be best remembered for her caring heart, infectious laughter and her fierce loyalty. She was a true loving spirit and embraced those she loved so deeply. Music spoke to her soul and the lyrics of so many songs painted the perfect picture of her emotions throughout her life. She enjoyed listening to live music, but even more, she loved singing as it allowed her to use her voice to express herself so well. She was a die hard Bills fan and stayed loyal through the years without hesitation, no matter where she lived in the country. Her role in her daughter’s lives was beautiful. They referred to her as Mother Goose, and they her goslings. They gave her such joy and it showed in every single moment with them and her 8 grandchildren.

Lori’s story isn’t complete without acknowledging her life-long struggle with alcoholism, but it was only a part of her story. She chose life 5 years ago and had so much more life to love and give. She inspired so many others who found themselves in that same struggle. She believed in everyone. As part of her recovery, she enjoyed adopting and caring for a menagerie of animals from a hairless guinea pig to her high maintenance rabbits. Anyone who knew Lori, knows this is just who she was. She loved fiercely and was unapologetic for her free spirit. She was also unapologetic for her love of pickles, as cringe worthy as it was for so many! Again, she was loyal!
While her family and friends are devastated by their loss, her presence will forever be felt within them.

I will miss Lori so much. Our friendship began our junior year together at FHS. When we found each other again on FB we picked up just were we left off. I was one of her biggest fans, a few of us saw her at a class reunion and worried about her. From that moment on she changed her life! I always told her she was my inspiration for life. She was the proof that with determination and love you can do anything. And she did! We celebrated her milestones of sobriety. I was so proud and happy for her. This week has been so sad, sad to have lost her and sad Jim lost his battle as well. If there is any solace it’s that Lori and Jim are together in heaven. God has wrapped his arms around them, granted them wings, and they will forever be with family and friends.
I plan to always remember Lori, to be a better person. To live life and to show more determination.
I will miss you Lori. My love and prayers to her family.

I just starting grieving for Lori yesterday. I was under covid isolation and just found out about her passing. It has hit me hard – I loved her as a friend. We passed pics back and forth about rabbits and had any talks. I will miss her greatly. My condolences to her family.,
