Florence will always hold a special place in my heart. She was so good to me. First she introduced me to Walt and we married because of her. Then she got me a job working with her at Alltel telephone Co. I had the privilege of working there 40 years because of her. She was a beautiful person that I will never forget
My Aunt Florence was a kind but confident woman. I appreciated getting to know her at the Lischak Family reunions held in late July. Her knowledge of our Ukrainian heritage was phenomenal AND she kept the Family Tree alive. I always wished I lived closer, to get to know her even better. Gerry out in Oregon
Several knew her as “Flo” at the Irondequoit Bay Fish and Game Club. She had such a love for crocheting , knitting, quilting, reading, love for the Yankees, etc!
Loved hearing her family stories.
She was a beautiful, sweet, friend. Loved our times at the “club,” “Buds on the Bay”, Legacy visits, lunches at Shadow Creek, and the Fairport Baptist Home. Love you, Flo!
A lady who brought me into her large family and made me feel welcome. Florence taught me to cook her Ukrainian food and was always there when I needed help.
Sandy and family, Sorry to hear about your Mother’s passing. Peace of the Lord and God Bless.
Aunt Florence had the biggest smile that lit up every room! I was honored to have one last visit a few weeks ago on our visit to the Leschak family reunion! Peace be with Aunt Florence 🙏 ❤️ 💕
My memories of Florence are filled with her laughter, intelligence, creativity and warmth. I am sorry that I wasn’t able to visit in time to be with her before she died. May you all know comfort in your memories of her and her presence with you in these times and in the future. She had a generous heart. Lots of love, Louise
One of my life regrets is not keeping in touch with Flo in the years after my dad, Bud, died. She was such a sweet woman, but she always spoke her mind and had her opinions. She was an important part of my dad’s life during the last years of his life.
Our deepest sympathies to allow her family and friends.
