Leackfeldt, Kathleen

Fairport: November 20, 2016. Survived by loving husband, Keith Leackfeldt; son, John Taylor Leackfeldt; daughter, Paige Leackfeldt; many friends and family. She received her BSN from Alfred University in 1977 and worked professionally with Highland Hospital. Some community work that she was active in include 7 Town Alliance, School Community Partnership Councel, PTSA co-chair, Pittsford Parent University founder, Advent House Gala co-chair among other volunteer organizations. Some awards she received include the Helen Guthrie Youth Advocate of the Year Award (1999), Volunteer Excellence Award (2000), New York State PTSA LIFE Membership Award (2006), Monroe County Outstanding Asset Builder Award (2007), Pittsford School Community Partnership Asset Buliders Award (2007).
Calling hours will be held Friday, December 2nd, 4-7 PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road (Egypt location). A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday December 3rd, 11 AM at Church of the Transfiguration.
