Fairport – Marty left this earth courageously at age 62 on May 29th after a strong two year battle with cancer. Cancer may have taken his physical body, but his soul lives on in all who love him. Predeceased by his father Charles, cherished nephew Christopher and father-in-law Ed . Marty joins them in heaven to party on. He will be sorely missed by his wife of 35 years Cyndi; cherished and beloved children Bryan (Toni Ventrilla) & Meli (Jared) Sher; his mother Jean; mother-in-law Theresa; and special pup Lootie. He leaves his brothers and sisters Chuck, Michele, Rick, Patty, Doug, Donna, Ken, and Annie with wonderful memories. Numerous nieces and nephews and special “GUM” to Jacob, Luke and Eli Dumas. Harper Gresco and Abby Ostrowski. Family – friends The Gerlings, The Lindstroms, The Gropps and Gollaher-Pillig families. He leaves behind his Ecolab team whom he respected and cared about with his whole heart.
The family would like to thank everyone at Wilmot Cancer Center for their support and caring over the past two years. It is a journey no one should have to take but having Dr. Dunne, Sulynn, Dr. Fleming, Dr. Hernandez and their outstanding teams made it bearable. The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the hospice team at Lifetime Care.
