Paul is survived by his wife of forty years and his sons Christopher, Daniel, and Benjamin.
Paul was a loving and caring person. He always put his family first. Paul took his family on numerous vacations to Disney World and on Springtime road trips to Myrtle Beach. The family enjoyed the time spent together on the road; they sang and laughed together the whole way.
Paul restored an award winning 1954 Volkswagen Beetle, which he entered into numerous shows. In addition to the Volkswagen, Paul restored Erector sets and Lionel model trains, which he enjoyed with his sons. He was a talented artist with professional level skills. He loved to draw and was a carpenter, a gardener, and a photographer. Paul and his family maintained a large vegetable garden and he planted most of the landscaping for the Linford family home.
Paul’s talents were not limited to art or gardening. In Paul’s early adult life, he earned a pilot’s license and flew a small airplane. Paul also enjoyed skiing and used his airplane to embark on skiing adventures. Later in life, Paul enjoyed attending hockey games at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and was an avid golfer.
Paul was a devoted father who enjoyed a variety of activities with his sons, such as Little League, Cub Scouts, camping, hiking, robotics, photography, and amateur special effects. He was always ready to utilize his photographic knowledge to help any of his sons for school or recreational projects. With his son Daniel, Paul created stop motion films using toy dinosaurs.
Paul was a devoted husband as well. Paul and his wife, Kim, always saved time to go on dates, hold hands on walks, and to never part without a kiss, hug, and affirming their love for each other.
Paul graduated from Minnachaug High School in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in photographic science from RIT. After graduating, Paul started his career at Eastman Kodak Company. Paul was subsequently drafted and served in the Vietnam War. After returning to Kodak, Paul became a manager and retired at age sixty-two.
Paul will be missed by his family, but his family were blessed to have had him in their lives.
