Jeannine “Neen” C. Logan, née Bovard, age 67, passed away in Fairport, NY on  March 18, 2021. She was born on November 30, 1953 in Athol, MA, the first child of  James A. and Patricia Toner Bovard. She was a 1971 graduate of Penfield High School.  She attended St. Michaels College at the University of Toronto and subsequently  earned her PhD in Psychology at the University of Buffalo. In 1979, she wed Nelson  “Scott” W. Logan (deceased in 2014).  

Jeannine was an avid reader, researcher, and crafter. She is predeceased by her  father, James A. Bovard. Jeannine is survived by her daughter, Nicole Purcell, and  grandchild, Leela Purcell, both of Rochester, NY. She is also survived by her mother,  Patricia L. Bovard, of Fairport, NY. Jeannine leaves behind three brothers, David  (Wilaiwan) Bovard of Chang Mai, Thailand, Jonathan Bovard of Rochester, NY, Michael  Bovard of Webster, NY, two sisters, Yvonne Peters of Fairport, NY, Mariette (Bill) Rowles  of Troy, SC, one Uncle, William (Jo) Bovard of Bay Village, OH, and many nieces,  nephews, and cousins. 

A memorial service will be held at a future time, date and location to be  determined. Donations may be made in Jeannine’s name to Foodlink food bank  Rochester, PO Box 60766, Rochester, NY 14606

    It is 1 month since my precious Jeannine Cherie left us here to mourn. I still kept the “fairy light” candle that she gave me for Christmas burning to shed a bit of her light upon us.
