Bob had a great love of sports. In high school it was basketball and track. Later he found a love of golf and fishing. He also loved going to sporting events for his children and grandchildren. Always a big fan!! Loved to watch sports on TV especially baseball and football. He loved the Yankees.and the Buffalo Bills.
Throughout his life Bob made many friends wherever the family lived. He also kept up friendships that he made back in his early years in Rockford. He was an extremely loyal and honest man. Later in life Bob and Jo traveled and continued to cherish those friendships. Bob also loved all the dogs he had in his life! Candi, Pablo and Prima.
Bob will be greatly missed by his family and they are comforted by knowing he is back with his sweetheart Jo.

Our sincerest condolences…loss is never easy but memories will live on. A life well lived !
Bob was a very close friend for 80 years! Started at 7 years Old and continued to the present. Played many sports together! I was very fortunate to have Bob as a close friend for a long time.
I will always remember him for the quality of his values ,especially loyalty,
Bob and Jo were our friends for more than 60 years. What began as side-by-side residents blossomed into a closeness that survived a number of moves and some health issues.
A man who seemed to see the bright side of things, he was always there for Jo and the family. A fine athlete and a good sport, he was a welcome participant in games of all sorts.
His loyalty to family was constant. A good father, husband, and friend who excelled in these roles.
Bob will be sorely missed.
Bob was one of the nicest man that I knew… was easy going and always had a smile on his face…my husband and I went on many vacations with them and had good times…. I will miss his smile.😘😘
