    To The Family,
As a volunteer minister, I read obituary columns on a regular basis. My goal is to bring comfort to the surviving family members. When someone we love dies the hurt that we feel is indescribable. What can we do, who can we turn to? One person that we can always turn to and rely on is God. Even though He allows our loved ones to die He gives us hope through His Son, Jesus Christ and His Word, the Bible. When on earth Jesus stated in part, “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” (John 5:28,29) This assured promise by Jesus gives us the hope that all our deceased loved ones will be brought back to life. I offer my deepest sympathy in the passing of your beloved and I hope that this scripture will bring you comfort at this most difficult time.

    Sincerely,
    Mr. Terry
