Gary Lewis Maniske 

April 19, 1948- December 8, 2021

Palmyra/Macedon

Passed away on December 8,2021 after a battle with cancer. He was born in Rochester NY and graduated from Fairport High school in 1967. He then went on to Vietnam as a combat medic. He retired from the Fairport Post office in 2006 after 36 years. He loved his job as a window clerk.

Gary is survived by his wife Anita (Johnson) Maniske, his daughter Suprina Mary Maniske, grandsons Jonathan &Hunter Battoglia. Sister’s Patrica Maniske, and Susie Jones. Brother Mark Maniske, god children Jeffrey and Stacie Bilger.Many nieces and nephews. His two K9 companions Princess and Blue.

He is predeceased by both of his parents Lewis & Mildred Maniske, his brother Charles Maniske and sister and law Bonnie Maniske.

Calling Hours Saturday December 18, 10AM-12PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt Location) 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport.

A Celebration of Life will be held On July 4th 2022 at Fog Valley. Giving him his final farewell.

    So very sorry for your loss. Gary was a fun guy to be around, especially when we were shooting fireworks together. I’m glad I had the privilege of knowing him.

    Gary was a great friend,enjoyed all the time with him and always remember the good times staying and fishing on Oneida Lake–See you in the after life!!!

    I went to school with Gary. I can still see him smiling as he walked the halls between classes. He was always happy and fun to be around . R I P my friend and thank you for your service. God Bless You and your family .
