Fairport – January 27, 2019 at age 89. Predeceased by his wife Mary. Survived by children Patricia McCarthy (James Schofield) & David McCarthy; grandchildren Timothy Schofield (Tomas Lazo), Matthew (Mandy) Schofield & Daniel Schofield; great grandchildren Abigail, Carter & Amelia Schofield; sister Jane Henning-Doyle; brother Richard (Margaret) McCarthy; many nieces & nephews. Charlie loved his family and enjoyed a good days work. He worked over 40 years at the American Can Co. and then for the Town of Perinton. He made many friends and will be greatly missed by all. Donations in his memory may be made to the Egypt Fire Department Services will be held in the spring.

Charlie was definitely one of the good guys at the 4 PM COTA Mass. He worked me hard at collection time trying to get more money from me. I hope to be singing at his funeral Mass.
RIP Charlie. Wish he had stuck around longer so that he and Anna could have made the trip to DC, and to many other places, together. That would’ve been fun. We will miss him.
