Jane Cleveland McComb
Jane Cleveland McComb, 78, passed away peacefully to be with our Lord on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
Born on February 15, 1948, Jane was the daughter of the late Alberta Wignall Cleveland and Charles B. Cleveland Sr. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Scott McComb.
Jane is survived by her brother, Charles B. Cleveland Jr.; her sister, Caroline Cleveland Smith; and her extended family of nieces, nephews, and their families, who will remember her with love.
Jane spent many years serving students as a paraprofessional with the Fairport Central School District. She was a longtime member of Fairport’s First Congregational United Church of Christ, where she enjoyed worship, Bible study, and the friendships she made within her church community.
Jane had a lifelong love of reading and enjoyed sharing books and recommendations with friends. She also loved to travel and appreciated the opportunity to explore new places, including Holland, Belgium, Sicily, and many destinations throughout the United States.
Jane will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the caregivers and staff at Fairport Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for the compassionate care, support, and kindness they provided to Jane.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairport’s First Congregational United Church of Christ or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Services will be announced at a later date.
