McGuirk, John Michael

John Michael McGuirk passed away Saturday October 24, 2020. Mike’s parents are predeceased, Peter and Patricia McGuirk of Fairport, NY. Mike has three beautiful children: Sean (Stacie), Cole and Morgan. He lived in Caledonia, NY for many years with his former wife Michelle Meyer McGuirk.

He was the first born of seven Children, his siblings are Kelly McGuirk-Berchiatti, Barbara McGuirk-Stacey, Jeanne (Scott) Hentz, Thomas McGuirk (Tezra), Molly (Mark) Krurnowski, and Katie (Thomas) Posella. His uncle is John McGuirk (Kelly) of Albany, NY and predeceased Uncle, Tom McGuirk (Mary) of Horseheads, NY. Mike has many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.

Mike graduated from Fairport High School in 1978 and worked in the RV industry for much of his life as a mechanic, foreman and salesman.

Mike was a skilled craftsman, he was able to design, build and fix just about anything. Some of his hobbies were landscaping, metalwork, grilling, cooking, boating and riding motorcycles.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date

    Mike, I will be forever grateful for the time we had hanging out. I’m so sorry that we won’t be able to do all of the things that we had planned. I will miss you buddy.

    Jeannie, I am so sorry for your loss. I just checked my high school yearbook– he and I were in the same graduating class. Far too young. My heart aches for you and your family.

    My memory of you will be your picture as that cute little three year old boy. Your fishing pole in your left hand. The security of your dads pant leg in your right hand and an ear to ear grin on your face. Rest in peace Michael.
