Laura lived her life for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as they were the center of her universe. She had a love for animals and especially adored her dog, Samantha. She was a phenomenal cook who cherished her family traditions, Sunday pasta meals, 4th of July pool parties, neighborhood Halloween parades and Christmas eve dinner. Eastview Mall was her passion every Saturday and the sales clerks knew her on a first name basis. A graduate of Nazareth Academy, Laura was a devout Catholic, attended daily Mass with Communion and a weekly Rosary group. One of her highlights was visiting the Vatican. Laura worked for many years in the U of R Admissions Office while supporting her husband’s law enforcement career and probably attended over a thousand events. She was extremely proud of her children and will always have a place in their hearts.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 10 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 26 Mendon-Ionia Road, Mendon. Inurnment, White Haven Memorial Park. I had the pleasure of meeting Andy Meloni at several occasions when I worked at Sweet’s Party House, with my sister Doreen.
Another I recall was when he was speaking at Arena’s Burgundy Basin Party House, and in conversation before his speech he showed me his notes of what he was going to say and it was a blank writing tablet! Many laughs, he had it all up there in his mind…A great sense of humor and I am thankful for the pleasure of his company on occasion. May the (ove he has for his family keep you all strong through this difficult time and to reminisce amongst his roses~
