Bernadette “Kim” Millow (Kimit, Kolakowski)
Fairport; June 3, 2025

Predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Mike; parents Joe and Annette (Kolakowski) Kimit; brother Dick Kimit; sisters Pat Hewitt and Betty Walter; son-in-law Roy Warner; and several in-laws.

Survived by her children, Mare (Jeff Thomas) Millow, Mike Millow, Ann Turner, Amy (Matt) Harris; grandchildren, Brian (Tabitha) Turner, Craig (Kylee) Turner, Michael (Kayla Darby) Millow, Paul Millow, Connor Harris, and Jacob Harris; great grandsons Maverick Turner and Benjamin Turner; and many nieces and nephews.

Kim was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; a friend to everyone she met; and an eternal optimist who lived a life of love, laughter, and gratitude. She was a lifelong gardener – something she learned at the side of her father growing up in Erie, PA – who also loved her Westies and her chickens; music; baking; painting; a good cup of coffee or nice glass of wine; binging her detective shows; and a leisurely afternoon on the porch enjoying the sounds of the birds. Over the last 10 years, Kim and her children also loved their extended family at St. John’s Greenhouse Homes (and St. John’s Home), who provided excellent care and helped her continue to enjoy the activities she loved most.

Funeral Mass Saturday, June 21, 2025; 10:30AM at St. John of Rochester Church, 8 Wickford Way, Fairport, NY 14450. No prior calling hours. The Mass will also be live streamed at https://stjohnfairport.org/streaming.

  1. So sorry about Aunt Kim. God bless you all. Time flies and it seems like yesterday we would all be together

  2. Hello and Goodbye Kim.

My sister “Pam” will meet you and pick up your interupted friendship. I think of you and mourn our unfinished friendship.

God be with both of YOU!

(My sister Pam & I were best friends with your mom growing up. Your Mom was in my wedding in 1957. My condolences to all of you. Marilyn “Marty” Rieger)
