Suzanne Mimken

Suzanne Mimken passed away on May 2, 2026 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her loving husband Frederick Mimken.
Born in Hamburg, NY, Sue graduated from Buffalo State College with a degree in education. After spending several years teaching, she left education to raise her four children. Sue returned to the workforce with Ed Mac Associates and later Parlec, Inc.
Sue and Fred were avid Fairport High School Football fans and were members of the Fairport Football Booster Club. Always a busy seamstress, after retiring she became an accomplished quilter. Sue and Fred were happy snow birds; spending six months a year in Englewood, Florida; for nearly 25 years. In recent years, Sue was a resident at the Friendly Home and lovingly cared for by the staff on Lee Place.
Sue is survived by her children Michael Mimken (Eve), Diane Brouwer, Tim Mimken (Cheryl), John Mimken (Sally). Grandchildren: Nicole Gaden, Rachel Mimken, C.J. Mimken, Andrew Brouwer, Nathan Brouwer, Daniel Brouwer, Joshua Mimken, Jesse Mimken, Grace Mimken, Josiah Mimken, Jeremiah Mimken, James Mimken, Erica Lindsay and Kyle Mimken; along with 10 great grandchildren.
The family plans to hold a private family memorial.
