Fairport: January 28, 2017, at age 69. Predeceased by his parents, William & Dora; and sister, Dona Heywood. Survived by the love of his life, Barb Merla and their Keeshond Star; cousins, nieces, nephews & many good friends. Don was an Army Veteran prior to attending UB Law School, and practiced law in Buffalo for several years before moving to Rochester and opening his own practice. He enjoyed music, fine dining, theater and travel. He especially enjoyed the Delbert McClinton Cruises every January, and was the neighborhood organizer for many festivities and traditional events. Don was an adventurer who embraced life.

Calling hours, Wednesday, February 1, 2017  6-8 PM at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd. (Egypt location), Fairport, where a Service will follow.
