With profound sadness we announce the passing of Cheryl, our loving and devoted wife, mother, oma and friend to all whose lives she touched, on May 28, 2021. She left us while sleeping at her residence in Pittsford, NY. She was in her 71st year.
Cheryl was born & raised in Rochester, NY where she attended Monroe High School. After graduating she worked for the Monroe County Probation Department until she left to pursue her heart’s desire of teaching and caring for children.
Cheryl loved her garden and flowers, outrageously decorating for holidays, and enjoyed her annual outings to the International Boxing Hall Of Fame. She was most at peace when she was sitting outside on her deck lounging on her swing. Most of all she treasured her children and embraced every moment with them.
Cheryl is survived by her husband William; her two sons Curtis (Mary) and William (Kristin); and her grandchildren Samantha, Kendyl, Stella, and William; and loving four-legged companion Bella.
The family is left with memories of a beautiful lady devoted to her family, faith and friends. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Veterans Outreach of Rochester.”

I knew Cheryl through my two boys, Jeff and Jason growing up. We had wonderful conversations talking about our children and then Grandkids. My last comnversation with Cheryl I learned she was quite ill. Prayer to her family. I will always remember her smile and laughter.
Cheryl was and always will be my best friend. We did not see each other all the time but when we did we would talk for hours. My heart goes out to Bill, her devoted husband and all of her family.
