Mary Yvette (Beauchamp) Mularz August 26th, 1931- August 15th, 2020. Yvette passed away peacefully with the love and support of her family both near and far. Yvette was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Leopold, as well her brothers Antoine, Gerard, Joseph and Evan, sisters Margaret, Antoinette and Theresa, and many well-loved brothers and sisters in law. She is survived her loving children Michaele (Terry) Blanchard, Leann (Dr. Harshad) Patel, and Timothy (Julie Yusko) Mularz. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Jason (Tara) Blanchard, Courtney (Dan) Hilliker, Noah (Sarah Hastie) Patel, Dr. Jonah (Jennifer) Patel, Sydney (mother Shana) Mularz, Canon and Carli Yusko, and her 5 adoring great-grandchildren Zachary, Dean, Avery, Audrey and Henry. She is also survived by her sisters Helen, Reta, Bernadette, and an abundance of dear cousins, nieces and nephews. Family and faith were at the center of Yvette’s life, which began on a farm in Newton Falls, NY in 1931 and brought her to East Rochester, NY where she graduated from East Rochester High School in 1948. Yvette was as a hairdresser by trade, and had a fulfilling career that took her around the country and included opening her own salon- Maison Yvette. In addition to hairdressing, Yvette spent her life in service of others. She was a volunteer at the Perinton Ambulance Corps, as well as a proud parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption where amongst many other committees and groups, she served as a Eucharistic Minister to the infirmed and lived a life of devotion to the Blessed Mother whose name she shared. Fittingly, she passed away on the Feast of the Assumption of Mary into Heaven. Yvette and Leo retired to Florida and became snowbirds in 1991 where she expanded her social accolades, learning square and line dancing, new card games, and playing shuffleboard with her friends in Teakwood Village then enthusiastically sharing her new knowledge with family and lifelong friends when they would return to Rochester every summer. While she loved to socialize with and host these friends, she most looked forward to the memories made with her adoring family of which she was endlessly proud. Her acumen in the kitchen, love of gardening, books, and playing games were hallmarks of her time with us. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. She was inurned at Our Lady of the Assumption, Aug. 26 on her 89th birthday. In accordance with her wishes for friends and family to safely gather together, a Memorial Anniversary Mass and Celebration will be held on August 14th, 2021 at 10AM Further details will be announced by the family. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of the LoveJoy Transitional Care Unit at the Friendly Home of Rochester and Linden Knoll for their care. They wish to especially recognize Yvette’s cherished and beloved aides Elizabeth McGill and Maureen Miller for the compassionate, dignified care they gave Yvette. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Friendly Home.

Dear Michaele,Leann, Tim and family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy for the loss of your Mom. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad time and we hope that your memories of your Mom bring you comfort. I have such nice memories of your Mom…when she was my religious education teacher, when I would babysit for Timmy…she always had a kind word for me. May God give you all strength during this grief journey and may your Mom rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Chuck and Linda( Dianetti) Alongi

Dear Cousins,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Aunt Yvette sure lived a very full life filled with the love of her family. I hope you find comfort in your memories and treasure the time you’ve shared. Sending you my love and prayers.
Dear cousins, I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you. I had a couple of very nice visits with your mom before COVID and we had a really good talk. She was true to herself to the end and did her job as my Godmother. She once told me “you’ll never find anything else out there that is better than what is in your own backyard” referring to our beautiful Catholic faith. When I went to visit her, I found her in the lobby putting a prayer intention in a box. She said she was praying to be a better person. She had that strong Beauchamp character that reminded me of my dad and I know she is happy to be reunited with her parents, siblings and of course your wonderful dad. God Bless. Vicky
Positive thoughts to all of you. Steve and I have lovely memories of Yvette and Leo from Tim’s Indian Guide and Cub Scout years.
