Some people come into your life and you just know that you would not be the same if you had never met. Joe was one of those people. We were honored to call him friend. We will miss you Joe. Until we meet again, entertain God with some of your stories.

Joe was a part of our family and we will miss him! He always had a fun story and made us smile. Until we see each other again, enjoy your reunion with Auntie Claudia and Uncle Ron. Heaven will be a happier place with you there, if that can be possible! Love to Randy, Maureen, Jen, Sophia, Erin, Dave, Ronan and Regan. We love you and will keep you in prayer. Jan and DinDin and the rest of the family too.

Joe made an impact on our lives the minute we met him. I told Maureen and Randy on Monday night that I fell in love with Joe my first day volunteering at the Advent House. Maureen said, “get in line”. He had that effect on so many people. I enjoyed his stories and watching Bill O’Reilly with him at night. We laughed about his love of Dr Pepper, pizza and baked goods. My son, Nathaniel would check his Dr Pepper inventory and if it was low we would drop some off on our way home from Wegmans. We will miss Joe but he will remain in our hearts and memories forever. We are better people for having met Joe, Maureen and Randy. Thank you for allowing us time with Joe.

I met Joe at the Historic Phelps Hotel Restaurant. Maureen and Randy would bring him in for dinner and I had the great pleasure of serving him. He was by far, my all time favorite customer. He always had a story, he always had to flirt and he always put a smile on my face. He was truly a wonderful person to have known. He certainly will always have a special place in my heart. Me, as well as my mother and the entire Phelps Hotel staff will miss him. Until we meet again Sexy Joe!
